With the creation of the Interstate system in the late 1950s, people started to travel more. One popular destination was Kentucky's attractions: Churchill Downs, Cumberland Falls, Mammoth Cave and Fort Knox.
This old souvenir plate is a great addition to a collection of vintage keepsake plates. Measures 9 1/4" and has a pretty scalloped border. The attractions are colorful artist renditions.
Item is in overall good condition -- no chips, cracks, nicks. A couple of surface scratches and faded gold edging indicate this plate was loved. No maker or manufacture information available.
