DetailsEnglish Butter Cheese Dish with Drain Plate 3 Pc 1930's
Green and white, 3-pc. English butter or cheese dish, decorated with flowers, English cottage and garden. No mark to show maker or origin.
DRAIN BOWL: measures 5 1/2" in diameter, 2 1/4 deep. The water from the cheese or butter drips into this. Another use is for ice to keep the butter cold during serving.
DRAIN Bowl: White porcelain, with green rim, measures 4 5 3/4" diameter,
1 1/4" tall. with a larger center hole, surrounded by 6 smaller holes.
DOMED COVER: measures 2" tall x 4 1/2" diameter.
All pieces are in good condition -- no chips, cracks, stains, repairs. We did notice natural glaze crazing, which is normal aging process for this type of porcelain. No mark to show maker or origin.
