This Avon collectible features a serene bird (dove or hen) resting atop a nest, both molded in milk glass. The next portion serves as a bowl, and the bird acts as the lid. Designed to be a powder box but is commonly used as a trinket dish, candy dish or for storing small items like cotton balls or Q-tips.
Avon produced this popular item for collectors of milk glass and vintage Avon products dating back to the 1970s.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall -- 5 1/4" tall (with lid), 4" at widest point, 2" base. Bowl -- 2 3/4" tall x 4" wide mouth.
CONDITION: Great vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, marks, scratches.
