  Item: Antique colorplate from "Poems of Childhood" 1904, as created by the renowned artist Maxfield Parrish. Artwork is professionally framed in an antiqued gold wood frame. Double mats enhance the print.
  Framed measures 15" tall, 12 1/2" wide. Artwork measures 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" wide. Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is attached to the back.
  
  Condition: Item is in good vintage condition. The art, mats are in pristine condition. The frame has minor wear with some missing paint, a couple of faint scratches.
  
  About Mr. Parrish:
  Frederick Parrish (1870-1966), later added Maxfield as his professional name to honor his paternal grandmother. He is one of America's best known artists and illustrators, and his name recognition rivals that of Norman Rockwell. His work was so popular that in the 1930's, it is estimated that nearly half of the households in USA had some form of his work. Even today, his work is highly collectible with some calendars and books selling for thousands, and his paintings often for millions.
