A goofus glass powder jar in the Cabbage Rose pattern, produced in the early 1900s. It is pressed glass decorated with gold, unfired paint, which caused the color to easily wear. This dresser jar would be wonderful in a shabby chic setting, or nice for a collector. It is about 3 1/4 inches tall including the lid, and 4" wide. The opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. Item is in good condition -- no chips, cracks, repairs. Shows some age related loss of paint, which is common on this category of antique glass.
